The following ten questions are to act as a guide as you begin to negotiate your way through the EARCOS Global Issues Network Website. This website will be a great resource as you begin to focus in on your global issues projects. So please follow the link and answer all of the questions to the best of your ability; it will prove valuable in the near future. 1) What is the slogan for the Global Issues Network Conference 2010?

2) What book is the Global Issues Network ideas based upon and who is the author of that book?
-Francois Rischard in his book High Noon “Twenty Global Problems, Twenty Years to Solve Them.”
3) When looking at the home page, Jean-François Rischard’s rally call for an, “alternative model of global governance based upon independent global networks that are flexible and super-responsive.” Why are international schools in a good place to begin to apply this concept?
Because students who go to international schools come from different places, they can learn about many different global issues happening in different countries.

These issues will constitute the main focus for your projects this unit.

2. Chung To . He is from Hong Kong and going to talk mainly about education.
7. What does EARCOS stand for?
