Art – Whimsical Watercolors…
Art Tagged Art October 28th, 2009The Shores of Early Autumn
This art project was inspired by the Canadian artist, Kyle Stewart.
During the creation of my watercolor painting, I learned a few new ways to use watercolors. My favorite technique would be the wet technique, where you put water on the paper before adding the watercolor. This is the first time where I used glue and watercolor in an art piece. After this project, I want to be more open-minded when choosing supplies for a piece of artwork.
This project will help me in the future as an artist so I will be more confident when I’m working on a piece. Using glue with watercolor has inspired me to take risks when choosing things to use in a piece of art.

That painting is so good. I wish that I could draw like that. The fact that you did it with water paint is even more extreme. I would like to see more of your painting throughout the year if you will send the paintings to me. Thanks.

Tiffany apart from the fact that the art is a really wonderful picture I really appreciate from a teachers point of view the fact that you’ve gone to the trouble of explaining the process and about the technique so it makes it something that I can share with other teachers and students. I also like how you explain about how it helps you.
