Monday isn’t exactly my favorite day of the week. Is it anybodys? I mean, you’ve just been relaxing and sleeping in during the weekend, then suddenly, you have to wake up soooooo early! I wake up at around 6: 40 ish . A.M.
Anyway, today wasn’t the best Monday either…. Sure, there were some ‘fun’ parts, but altogether… well, it was an average Monday. :mrgreen;
1. I forgot that it was extra rehearsal today, so of course, I didn’t bring my Drama folder, and of course, I forgot some of my lines, and of course, it was a bit messed up. Luckily, I can have a pretty good memory when I want to, so I could remember most of my short lines.
By the way, I’m a royal nurse in old times China. I guess it’s a pretty good part… You think?
2. Art… I finished my landscape painting last time, so today it was free draw. And I drew a bunny rabbit!
Actually, at first I was just doodling on my sketchbook, then Ms. Yie suggested that I look at those art books, so I chose a book that had a bunny rabbit in it. It was really cute! No, seriously, it had bright dark colored eyes, and no, it wasn’t a cartoon it was a real bunny. Drawing of a bunny, I mean. The book also had these steps to follow to draw it. I followed those, and even if I do say so myself, it was pretty good!
3. OK… Chinese isn’t my best subject… especially in CL4, it’s almost torture sometimes! Well… today in class, we had to write a ‘zuo wen’ , a sort of essay paper that had to have more than 250 words i n like two lesson periods! Alright, I’ll admit it’s not that hard, but… OK, I’ll tell you this; I’m the person who sort of isn’t the best at writing Chinese stuff… Yeah…
4. Invention Convention assembly. I don’t have that much to say on this, but it’s hard thinking of a topic to do for Invention convention. (Sigh)
5. I’m trying to memorize the poem ‘ The Night before Christmas’ AKA ‘A Visit from St. Nicholas’ to get a n invite to a pizza party in our classroom, but it’s a super long poem and this is all I have memorized so far, (I swear I’m not copying off the the paper, alright, I did memorize a lot, but some mistakes….)
‘Twas the night before Chirstmas, when all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads.
And Mama in her kerchief, and I in my cap,
had just settled our brains for a long winter nap.
When out on the lawn, there arose such
a clatter,
I sprang out of bed, to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like like a flash,
Tore open the shutters, and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow, gave the luster of midday to objects below.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment, it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles, his coursers they came,
He whistled and shouted, and called them by name.
“Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer, now Vixon,
on Comet, on Cupid, on Donder, on Blitzen!”
Yeah, that’s about it…
Well see you!

I memorized it last year, but I’ve forgotten most of it now… Lol. I’m trying to rememorize it. Okay… For some reason, we had to do a 250 word essay at home, we had the weekend, and I’m in CL0, which is like, CL2-3.5 or something in ES…
I also hate Mondays. I forgot my water bottle today. And I had PE… I was doomed. But they have cups in PE! I didn’t use them though… Too much of a tree hugger. Still.
Good luck on Invention Convention and The Night Before Christmas! (And I think you got it all right so far.)
