  • Tallest Building in the World Opens!

    January 24th, 2010 by maxwell01px2017

On January 4th, the tallest building in the world, which took 5 years to build, finally opened.  It is located in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).  The building stands at 2,716 feet high and costs around 1.5 billion dollars to construct.  It was designed by some famous American architects whom have also designed some of the previous tallest buildings in the world.  The skyscraper includes 9 fancy hotels and 1,044 apartments for people to live in.  There are 57 elevators, some of which are high speed ones that travel at 33 feet per second. The 124th floor has an observation deck.  Sometimes on a clear day, visitors might be able to see the coast of Iran  !!!

I think the company that constructed this new world record building was very smart to have hired some of the previous creators of the tallest buildings because they each have there own ideas about how to make it stand up and to make it resist earthquakes.  However, they might have had a hard time deciding which idea to use since each person has their own techniques on how to make the building survive.  I also think the architects have combined some of their original ideas because the building resembles some of the old tallest buildings in the world such the Taipei 101, the Petronias Towers, the Jin Mao and the Sears Tower.

The Southern Suburbs is very often the choice of location for a Cape Town property by young families. There is no doubt some of the best schools in the country are to be found in the Southern Suburbs. These institutions are highly regarded locally and internationally and take children from prep through to high school. Those parents who have Cape Town properties in this location have a choice of single gender or mixed gender schools. They also have a choice of private or government schools.

I’ve been doing it for the last couple days and yesterday I said I made $71 in the morning…It is officially a movement, I made THREE HUNDRED dollars yesterday. My friends and I are still shaking. I can’t wait to see where I end up today, everyone is so excited about Anthony’s awesome system. The biggest plus? All this is free income!
