Writing Memoirs

I learned that a memoir is a small part of your life not your whole life. A found out that a memoir is a special kind of autobiography. It is a text about the authors life experiences. It might also be a private part of their life. Small Steps and Knucklehead are examples of memoir because their a part of a persons life not their whole life. I also figured out that memoir means memoria and memoria means memory. I learned this while I was looking for a link so a memoir is usually based on a persons childhood.
