Technology/ Digital Literacy
In grade 5 we use technology to support our learning. Over the past year I have learned a lot.
In class we blog a minimum of once a week and usually focus on all areas of the curriculum. Here is a blog post I am really proud off. I think that it is a quality post because it has a picture, links, a video and lot of information on the subject.
One of the most exciting aspects of blogging is that we can start conversations about our learning with a much wider audience then we have had in the past. Part of this involves commenting on other student’s, teacher’s and people’s blog.
I have commented on people’s blog from around the world on many different topics. Some of the sites that I like to comment on or that help me to learn are Mrs. Boyer’s Global Native, Carina’s Blog, Kate’s Blog and Jordan’s Blog.
During technology classes this year I have learned lots of things. Two of the main things I learned are to blog using Wordpress and how to use iMovie.
