Compare and Contrasting Migrations
21 05 2009Today, my class and I had a big discussion about migrations. Part of this discussion included typing up a blog post.
When I looked at other people’s reason for migration I realized one thing most of us had in common, it was for our parent’s job. I’m really happy my dad got assigned here in Shanghai because I’m loving my life here.
Majority of the people in my class migrated from America. I was one of the few people who came from another place than America. A place that I call home and will always call home is the Philippines.
I think that because of this unit I’m starting to realize how unique our school is with people coming from different cultures and backgrounds.
