This was a death threat made by a Soc to Ponyboy. He had just walked out of the movie theater and was on his way home, when he was jumped by a red corvair. Five Socs jumped out of the corvair. They proceded to surround him and make the threat. It meant “do you want to die.”

Dally had to fight for his life in New York, it was a a fight for self-presentation. He had seen so many things that he shoudnlt have, and it had hardened him to the point where he didn’t care anymore.

He didn’t care if anyone loved him or not

Quote 12: “This church gave me a kind of creepy feeling. What do you call it? Premonition?” Chapter 4, pg. 67

 When Ponyboy and Johnny walked into the church they felt a creepy feeling, Premonition. They were hiding out here so the police wouldn’t find them, because Johnny was on  the run for murder.

Quote 22: “I wouldn’t mind it so much if there wasn’t so much stuff I ain’t done yet and so many things I ain’t seen. It’s not fair.” Chapter 8, pg. 121

This was Johnny’s complaint. He was going to die and he realized that he wanted to do more in his life than what he had. He thought that it wasn’t fair

 

Quote 29: “I had the knife. I killed Bob.” Chapter 11, pg. 165

 This is what Ponyboy said when he was delirious. He thought that he killed bob and that Johnny was still alive. He snapped out of it later 

Firefox vs. Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer was the all time used program. It was the leading internet browser. But Firefox has taken away all of that, with its convenient tabbing and user-friendly appearance. Firefox seems to be a more quick and easy browser than IE.

The Beatles were a band in the 60s. One of their most famous songs was yellow submarine. They were very important to the 60s because they were what people where listening to, defining that generation.

JFK Assassination

The assassination of John F Kennedy was a blow to the 60s. It showed that times were changing and that presidents weren’t as loved as they were before. It also showed that the president’s previous guard had to step their security up a notch, because the incident could easily repeat itself

The Beatles were imp

This poem shows that nothing can stay gold, or perfect. In the beginning of life all was perfect, but it is impossible to keep perfection, like trying to stop the sun rising, corruption destroys in the  end. Noting can stay perfect foreveer. This poem is fairly pessimistic. It tells that perfection,or gold, is a form that nothing can truly hold forever. But their is one pinprick of light in the void of darkness. This poem tells that perfection is attainable, the poet obviously believed this.

So for a time you can hold perfection but it becomes harder to hold like, smoke as he warning goes, nothing gold can stay…
