Dar and the Spear Thrower
Summary:
Dar just went through the initiation ceremony of adulthood. His uncle thinks he is not ready to hunt like the other men, so he went on a journey to trade for a rare weapon, the spear thrower to prove that he is an adult. He joined the clan for a few days, learning many new things about survival, carving, and hunting. When he came back, he introduced the ultimate weapon to his clan, and it helped his clan greatly.

The part when Dar realized that it is going to be really difficult for him to live without his sunstone reminded me of when I started practicing flute. I was really determined, and thought that it would be good for me. But while practicing, I realized how difficult it was, and I wasn’t sure if I really should play flute or not.
