FOREWORD
Although I finished all of the piled-up-high homework, I’m still very uncomfortable doing that much, since I’m not used to it.
THE REAL POST:
We had virtual school homework because we had a holiday that was not planned that’s called the May Holiday(from April 30 – May 3), it was only there because the Chinese Government doesn’t want traffic on the streets ’cause it was the start of the Shanghai World EXPO. Okay, that might not have maked sense. It meant: There is a holiday that was not planned, and teachers assigned homework that day. There was a holiday because the Government didn’t want the traffic on the road to be more complicated because of the school buses. So, the teachers gave a school homework to do during the days we were supposed to have school. DONE. Good, now you should understand.
Mrs. Leishman gave us a lot of homework, I thought I’d be dead and not even finish it when all the homework was due, this is what she gave us:
- A whole 13 paged decimal/percent packet to finish
- Fill at least two pages, write two entries on writer’s notebook
- Write about the Peasant Painting Village and Shanghai World Expo on your blog
- Write a five paragraph reading letter based on the story you’re reading
ART:
- Fill in this paper
MUSIC:
- go on www.dsokids.com/ to write down 3 or more facts about a composer.
CHINESE:
- Fill in the “Food Sheet” for participating in the “Snack Share” on Friday, May 7.
- Read a story and answer the questions
- Study for Unit Test.
Do you call that little homework? I’m dead already. But alas! I finished all of them by May 2. I’m happy, but tired, too.
