Neolithic Acrostic poem

This was a project that our humanities teacher assigned us to tell the difference between the paleolithic and neolithic times.
Never moved around
Eating dates was their favorites
On the land they planted seeds so that they could have crops
Lived in between two rivers
In this time people have
They always stayed in one place
Hunting was not their thing
I know that they wanted to be surrounded by natural barriers to keep enemies out
Combined forces let them over take cities
