♥ Mixolydian Blog assignment (Due 11/4)
1. How do you turn a Major scale into a Mixolydian scale?
Just turn the seventh note of the scale down a half-step.
2. Write the notes (letter names) for the Mixolydian scale that starts on the note A.
A, B, C#, D, E, F#, G, A
3. If you start a major scale on a scale degree other than the 1st and go up one full octave, you will form a Mixolydian scale. Which scale degree would you start on? (Looking at the circle below may help you).
