1.How would you define ethnicity in two sentences or less?

Ethnicity is when you belong to a group of people, or a social group. It is usually a cultural group, and you feel that you belong there. Your physical and mental make-up will define what is your ethnicity.

2.Based on the definition you wrote, how can you relate your ethnicity?

My ethnicity is Asian, because my parents are Asian, and I’m pretty sure my great-grand parents were too. If I had to be specific, I’d say Chinese, because Singapore is composed of many different races.

3.What do you know of Esperenza’s ethnicity based on what you have read so far?

Esperenza is most likely a Latin, or Spanish girl, who has lazy hair. She is easily embarrassed, and she has poor choice in friends. Or maybe the neighborhood she lives in has strange people, as she describes it.
